The Taranaki Men's Hockey Association held its monthly (meeting on Wednesday evening, when the following delegates attended: W. A. an(l F - c - El » nr (Stratford), M. Priest and T. Bennie (Kaponga), Cattran and Burgess (Hawera Rivals), Primmer and C. Llbeau (Elthain), Wilson and Hodder (Manaia), I. Clcmow and Morrisey (Hawera Old Boys). An apology was received from the Inglewood Club for the absence of their delegates, and appointing Messrs. G. L. Manners and C. Reed, of Stratford, to represent them. The meeting was presided over by Mr S R Sharp, vice-president of the Stratford Club! who welcomed the delegates from the recentlyformetl Manaia Club. The Hawera Old Boys Club tendered a protest against the Rivals Club for playing se\en members of A team in the B team on a recent date. It was decided to uphold the protest, and, on the motion of Messrs. Cattran and Prim- , mer, it was resolved to forward particulars to tlio New Zealand Association for a ruling, ! and to send a copy of the local Association's I rules to headquarters. » ' A Judicial Committee for each division was decided upon, each club'to be represented by two delegates. It was decided also that each division have a selection committee to be comprised of a selector from oach club. A discussion took place on a motion passed by the Rivals Club In favor of having J°fw e V° » , mlltch - Mr - Burgess stated that the resolution was the outcome of some dissatisfaction over certain rulings, and he considered that by the method proposed each team would receive fair treatment.
