The Conference decided that the Turkish Treaty would include a British mandate over Palestine, for which the British and French are authorised to negotiate the boundaries. The chief question is whether the upper Jordan uml Liiani rivers ishall be included in Syria.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. Messrs. Clynes, Arthur Henderson, Bowennan and J. S. Thomas, on behalf of the National Committees of the Labor Party, telegraphed resolutions to Mr. Llovd George at San Remo, urging the Government to accept a mandate to Udminister Palestine with a view to its reconstruction as a national Jewish home.
