BRITAIN TO HELP DOMINIONS. THE EXPENDITURE ON BURIALS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received March 14, 5.5 p.m. London, March 13. It is understood the War Office is meeting all Australian and New Zealand military claims in a generous spirit. It has been decided to accept the proposal of Mr. G. F. Pearce (Australian Minister for Defence) to recoup Australia for ttie cost of maintaining troops retained in Egypt owing to native riots. All expenditure traceable to riots will be recovered from the Egyptian Government, In accordance with a recent agreement tlie_ full cost of grave space?, crosses and maintenance, and also a considerable proportion of the burial expenses of Australians and New Zealanders buried in the United Kingdom, will be met out of i Imperial funds.—Aus.-N.Z.
