INGLEWOOD SALE. (From Our Own Correspondent.) Mr. Newton King's Inglewood sale on Wednesday was held In glorious weather, and was Tery numerously attended. There was a very big muster of sheep, yards and races being filled The cattle yards also were well filled and a good sale resulted, the roost noticeable feature of which wa3 the well maintained: . demand for in-calf heifers, Jersey calves and good lambs. In fact, for the last named there were buyers present whose requirements could not be supplied. Prices for stock were: For woolly lambs up to 20s 9d, wethers 30s, ewes 20s to 273. A small line of purebred Romney ewes of mixed ages, on account of Mr. C Caldwell, who Is giving, up sheep on his Hursthouse Road farm, sold for 375, and rams sold up to 4 guineas In cattle miied breed weaner heifers brought £2 12s, Jerseys as high as £7 Is, steers (weaners) £1 15s, 20-months empty heifers £7 10s, steers from £4 Cs to £6, 3-year-otd Hnlstein heifers (In-calf) £l4, 20-month Jerseys (Incalf) £l4, Jersey in-calf heifers £ls 15s, store cows £9 15s, and bulls up to £9.

At Addington market there was an exceptionally heavy yarding et store and fat sheep, the total sheep entry being over 45,000 Fat cattle were also forward in larger numbers than usual. A pen of 25 really prime sold at 3«s, prime lambs 28s 6d to 33s 6d, medium 25s 9d to 28s, lighter 23s 5d to 25s 3d Fat Sheop—A very large yarding, the quality not being uo to recent standards. The market was about snm'e as last week, freezing buyer* securing a go>xl proportion of the entry.
