WAR LAWS.

CONTINUANCE OF SOME MEASURES. ■ (By Wire.—Own Correspondent,) Wellington, Last Night. The Statutes Repeal and Expiring* Laws Continuance Bill, introduced today, re-enacts a number of statutes and clauses and repeals others. It deals chiefly with laws that were passed during the war and are required to be continued in whole or in part. The power to give Crown tenants exemption from cropping conditions, and to postpone payment of rent on pastoral runs and grazing runs, is to continue. Tho various rent restriction provisions and the protection given soldier tenants are continued. Trustees are to retain the power to raise money on trust estates for investment in war loan.
