AN INTERNATIONAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. By Telesraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. New York, Oct. 22. A special comipittee of the International Trade Conference unanimously adopted a plan for a permanent Liternational Chamber of Commerce, membership to be strictly limited to countries joining the League of Nations. It is pointed out that until the United States ratifies the Treaty and League she will not be eligible. The Chamber will have permanent international headquarters, possibly at Geneva. The board of directors will consist of two members of each nation, one ■ member being permanently attached to the international headquarters. There Will also be bureaux in each country and regular meetings of the international body at intervals of two years, with special meetings when necessary.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
