THE POLITICAL SITUATION.
A CRISIS APPROACHING. LIBERAL MINISTERS MAY LEAVB CABINET. (From Our Own Correspondent.) Wellington, Last Night. There are indications of a movement irt the political field. Just what is going to happen it would be rash to predict, but a belief is growing in political circles that the relationship of the two groups now forming the National Cabinet will bo adjusted before Parliament meets. That seems likely to mean that Sir Joseph Ward and the other Liberal Ministers will retire from the Cabinet. Several features of the present situation are considered to make an early ' adjustment desirable. The Governor's speech has to be framed within the next ten days. The industrial situation 'requires the attention of a united Cabmetjvl that is, a Cabinet that can reach binding^» decisions on questions of policy. The kl impending session and the general »lec- ft tion to follow require statement* of ™ policy on various matters, whereas the National Government, as at present constituted, must frequently compromise oo policy and so impede action.
