EVERYBODY'S. THE POWER AND THE GLORY, J June Elvidge is the star of the World \ drama "The Power and the Glory" now ' showing at Everybody's, and is supported by Madge Evans and Frank Mayo. [ The story is one with a strong heart interest and a thrilling conclusion while the touches of pathos and beauty make it a very delightful screen play. The | story tells of the manner in which a beautiful young girl who has been brought up in the mountains in the most abject poverty, goes down to a milt town to get a job so that she can pay off some of the debts which the family owes and also get some new clothes and such like. She succeeds in this respect and in addition she meets the wealthy young son of the mill owner. Romance then enters her life and with it various trials, doubts, adventures, and through it , she has to face the scandal of gossips who see evil in everything. The end- ' ing is a happy one and the supporting cast is strong. As usual with World dramas the production is in the highest' degree creditable.
