f CIVIL SITTING, (Before Mr S. E. McCarthy, S.M.) Judgment was given for plaintiff by default in the following undefended cases at New Plymouth yesterday:— Myra'M. Rogers (Mr A. C. Lawry) v. George Curty, £6 10a (costs £1 9s 6d); Trustees late W. E. Dockrill v. James Rielly, £3 4s (costs ss); same v. Frank Eeid, £3 2s 9d (costs ss). MOTOR COLLISION C&SE. In the motor collision case heard last week in which Jesse Jury, of Omata, sued John Toms, late of Frankleigh Park, for £7l lis 2d for damage to a motor car alleged to be caused by the negligent driving of defendant, the Magistrate, Mr S. E. McCarthy, gave judgment for plaintiff for the sum of ±'so, costs according to scale. Mr. Ronald H. Quilliam appeared for plaintiff and Mr A. H. Johnstone for defendant.
