MftTton, July 81 Children's Day was celebrated at Marton yesterday by a magnificent spectacular procession, Marton and the neighbouring schools taking part in a pageant representing the Allies with numerous tableaux. Over 1200 children took part and the route was lined with soeotators. At the Marton Park the children sang patriotic oongs, Mr. De Berry, headmaster of Marion School, delivering a stirring address. The march past was a brilliant spectacle. The proceedings terminated with r fehildren's fancy dress ball.
