The chairman of the Lambeth Guardians drew attention to an Australian soldiar, who was departing for home leaving an English wife and three child,ren by a former marriage. The chairman said he had communicated with the High Commissioner. It would be monstrous i£ the husband could be carted away, leaving a family dependent vt the parish.
