ENTERTAINMENTS.

EVERYBODY'S. CLARA KIMBALL YOUNG- IN "THE HOUSE OF GLASS." Everybody's Theatre runs "The House of Glass" to-night, and to-morrow night. "The House of Glass" is a story based upon what might very easy bo on experience of real life, but .the reel version lends to this chain of incidents a glamor and a glory, a series of heartthrobs, and a touch of pathos, that make the picture itself the objec* of a remark-1 able interest. There is a touch of fatalism continually recurring in "The I House of Glass," because, as the storv plunges along, and the prosperous man, through the defalcation 3 of an employee comes ever nearer ,to the knowledge that his wife has a mminal "past," there is a fine contrast drawn between the powers of fate and the weakness of humanity. There are some exceßeat supporting films. ' THE PEOPLE'S. GEORGE BEBAN. The wonderful character actor, George Beban, surpasses himself in "One More American," now running at the People's, ft is a charming story of an Italian immigrant's great struggle to build up a home for his small family, and incidentally he fought a grafting politician. The mills of God grind slowly and with the dust went those who had schemed against this man—all finally was right in his little world. The latest gazette, Travelog and "The Eagle's Eye," Ho, 2, are also- shown.
