HARBOR BOARD LOAN.
\ 6434 VOTES TO 293, DETAILS OP THE VOTING. The deta& of the voting on the Harbor aaßrd'Pproposal •to borrow up to £300,000 for improving the New Plymouth harbor, in accordance with the Fchenie planned out by Mr. .7. Blair Mason, show that there is very little opposition to the loan, and that practically the whole harbor area has given a splendid endorsement of the board's policy in its intention to make New Plymouth one of the finest ports in the Dominion. The figures at present available show that 5,434 votes were cast in tavor of the loan and only 293 against it, so that the board has received an unmistakeable mandate from its constituents to make the best harbor possible at New Plymouth without delay. Following are the figures at present to hand: —
