MARCH OF DOMTNION TROOPS THROUGH LONDON. Received March 27, 5.5 p.m. Loudon, March 20. A large gathering at the Overseas Club gave a luncheon to General Monash. Mr. Wrench, who presided, announced that Lord Milner had promised to approach the War Office to arrange for a march of Dominion troops to enable Londoners to wish them God-speed prior to their return, as proposed by the Hon. D. F. Denham.

General Monash, who reviewed Australia's war effort, outlined the military lessons learnt in the war. The foremost was that finding' lighting men was relatively unimportant compared with the education of the commanders. Provision of equipment will be necessary for the continuance of Australia's defence force, but it would also be essential to expend money upon a highly qualified staff and the most scientific and up-to-date weapons.

UNEMPLOYMENT MONEY. AUSTRALIANS GROUPED IN CAMPS Received March 2", 8 p.m. London, March 21. Over a million persons are receiving unemployment money, equalling a million and a quarter sterling weekly. With a view to retaining the Australian forces in five divisional groups, while awaiting repatriation, five camps are being established at Salisbury under General Rosenthal.
