T"")RIVERS of Vehicles plying for hire to and from the Racecourse on the sth and 6th instants are hereby notified to adhere strictly to the following routes: MOTOR VEHICLES: To the Racecourse.—From starting point near Criterion Hotel via Devon and Gover Streets to Racecourse. From the Racecourse.—Gover Street to Courtenay Street, thence along Courtenay Street and Powderham Street to Robe Street, thence along Robe Street and Devon Street to starting point. HORSE-DRAWN VEHICLES: Start, from Bank of New Zealand in Brougham Street and proceed via Brougham Street, Gill and Gover Streets to the Racecourse, returning by the same route. ALL vehicles must use the Club's private roads for turning. Persons driving at excessive speeds oi not conforming strictly to the directions of the Inspectors will be prosecuted. Messrs.
