The Xew York World sava information from Rotterdam diows that Germany is transferring large sections of Krupp's works underground as a protection against air raids. Germany is planning a submarine campaign in the Pacific. WHY THE WAR MUST BE WON. Washington, Feb. 8President Wilson, replying to a deputation, said that America was determined to spend every ounce of energy in prosecuting the war. "We are facing the final phases of the great struggle with Germany, and if the Allies lose |it will set back the world's development ! for a century."
