STRATFORD A. & P. SHOW.

| PEOPLE'S DAY. There should be a record attendance for People's Day, to-day, as not only does Stratford's central position lend itself to motor-car traffic from all parts of Taranaki, but the train arrangements should suit visitors frqm out east and also from North Taranaki, a train leaving New Plymouth at ten minutes to eleven. Visitors will find plenty to interest them, not only in the show pens, but in the arena, which will be a very busy scene, as so large are the entries in most of the classes that an early start is to be made. The competitions have drawn large entries, and should prove exciting. The parade will be held at 1.30 p.m.. The Stratford Band, under its new conductor (Mr. F. L. Spurdle), will render a programme of music during the afternoon.
