MILITARY SERVICE BOARD.
SITTINGS AT NKW PLYMOUTH. The members of the First Wellington Military Service Board—Messrs I). G. % Cooper (chairman), W. Perry and 1). McLaren—arrived last night by train for the purpose of holding a sitting- of the Appeal Board at Now Plymouth to-day. Captain Walker, military representative, and Major Cox, officer commanding the group, also arrived in New Plymouth 4 . The board will sit at Hawera to-morrow, Saturday and Monday. The following cases are set down for hearing here today:— James George Martin. Shaw Mcßean, farmer, Ngatamiro; Percy Ballnntyne Sole, dairy farmer, Brixton; John Aylward, farm assistant, Warea; Richard Abraham Warner, Tataraimaka; Patrick o*Sullivan, dairy farmer, Okatjs William Hodley, motor engineer, Near' Plymouth; Libert Hedley, driver, New Plymouth; Dr. L. H. Whetter, Inglewood.
