The High Commissioner's market report, dated London, November 4. is as follows, quotations, unless otherwise specified, being average market prices on spot: Meat.—There is a poor demand for New Zealand mutton and lamb wing to the large supply ..f home-killed mutton. English lamb and Argentine beef is selling at comparatively low prices. Xew Zealand mutton is very scarce at S 4 d per lb., ewe mutton 8d; Argentine mutton,' heavy-weight B%d, light-weight B%d: New Zealand lamb, (iy 4 d; Argentine lamb, B%d. There is very little New Zealand ox bncf on the market, and only interior quality is available. New Zealand ox beef, hinds 7i/ 4 d, fores s'/ 3 d : Argentine chilled beef, hinds B%d, fores 7%d. The butter market continues Arm. Danish, owing to small supplies, is firmer at 214s to 218s, Irish creamery, small supplies; salted, 190s to 200s; .msaltod, 200s to 204.-; Canadian, salted, 1941s to IPS*. The New Zealand spot market is bare; salted, 200s to 2045; good line qual'itv salted, 2!Ms to IDSs; Argentine, salted; 1118s; unsalted, l»8s to 200s. American creamery, salted, 18(!s to 190s. The cheese market'has a firmer tone since last report. Canadian, white Ills to 110s, colored 114s to 110s; English eheddar. 120s to 12Gs; New Zealand, no oflicial quotations, nominal quotations, white 113s to' 114s; United States fiats, white 112s to ll'Ss. The estimated Canadian and United States cheese stocks in London, Liverpool, and Bristol are 299,000. boxes, against ■"s.OOO at the same time last year. ..' •- v
