It appepnh that a shepherd named Kenneth lAviligv 1 stone was shot dead by an unknown'-as* * sailant, and that the manager of the nm on which Livingstone worked, C. S. Mim Farlane, was seriously injured. Mac* Farlane crawled ten miles to the tele* graph office and communicated with tlei police. Details of the crime are vague,' and the identity of the murderer ie tiM known.
