While tin; captain was still in doubt as to what he should do, hd received another wireless message, this time from a British warship in the neighbourhood, telling him to stand back while Hie warship investigated the matter. It was afterwards discovered that it was the Moewe which had sent the "5.0.5." signal as a lure to draw the British liner within her net. .
