EXTRACT FROM GEXERAL ORDERS. (From Our Own Correspondent). General Godlcy lias forwarded to the Minister for .Defence (Hon. J. Allen) the following- extract from general orders, dated December 11, 1015: "The Commander-in-Chief desires to place on record his appreciation of the discipline, courage and presence of mind displayed by the officers and men of the 23th Divisional Ammunition Column and by the ollicers, iinr«;ng sisters. non-com-missioned officers and men of 111,. Xew Zealand Medical Corps on the Iran-port Marquette on October when this ship was struck by a torpedo and sunk.
