THE WINTER SHOW.

DAIRY PRODUCE SCHEDULE. The Taranaki Agricultural Society on Saturday adopted the recommendations made at the dairy factory managers' conference in connection with the .-'&edtile for dairy produce at the Winter Show. At the conference there were present Messrs J. S. Connett (chairman), H. J. King, J. R, Rowlands (representing the Society), Messrs Koller (Bell Block), T. Robinson (Mangorei), J. Ross (Warea), Callaglian (Oaomii), Huse (North Taranaki), Roberts (Lepperton) and Shrimpton (Royal Oak) representing the factories. Apologies were received from Messrs Neilson (Pihama), McDonald (Kaupokonul). C. Thrush (Waitangururu), A. Dunlop (Hawera), and R. H. f:. Boyle (Eltham). The recommendations were th:v a home separator butter class should ,j )( , substituted for the non-prize-winmii'rs-competition, and that a class for whey butler should be included, the prizes to be £-2 2s and £1 Is, with an entry of ss.

In cheese all export classes are to be one cheese instead of two, and the medium class to be three cheeses instead of two. A points prize will be given for the aggregate in classes S, 9 and 11, plus average grade for the season. The Factory Managers' Association promised to donate a trophy as last year. The offer was accepted "with thanks.
