fcNEMY WANTS DECISIVE RESULT. Paris, Dec. 19. Le Temps' military critic declares that we must expect a German attack at Dvinsk or on the Western front. Germany would like Egypt, but there are such great natural difficulties that an expedition could not be got ready for three months. This does not suit Germany, who wants a decisive result immediately. DEFENCE OP ALSACE. Berne, Dec. 10. The Germans claim to have converted 'Altlcirch into an Impregnable fortress guarding a position of importance on the Alsace road and railways and barring *he way to Mulhausen. SUCCESSFUL BOMBARDMENT. Paris, Dec. 19. A communique says that excellent results have been obtained from the bombardment of enemy works in the Apremont sector.
