A WIDESPREAD PLOT. STAKTLTXf! CONFESSIONS. New York, Oct. ?.Q. Purtlior startling developments have been discovered in the bomb conspiracy. The polics are seeking for Matf Broitung, secretary and treasurer of the Oil iWell Supply Company, who is accused of furnishing the bulk of the 30, 000 dollars recently spent by Fay. The police are investigating Breitung's supposed relationship with Breiiung, the purchaser of the Dacia. Dr. Heinzc and Paul Baeche have also besn arrested for conspiracy. Flynn, head of the Federal Secret Service, declares that Breitung and Fay paid Paul Sei'bo for the purchase of the explosives. Scvbc was formerly a German soldier and will he a Government witness. SehoHz has confessed that he and Fay tested the explosives and made the mines. He had almost perfected the exploding apparatus when he was arrested. He denies that a loaded mine [had been attached to any ship. SchoU ■believes that Fay received 4000 dollars from the German Government. It is officially stated that Fay has confessed that the German Secret Service sent him to the United States after he had exhibitad his exploding invention.
