LADIES' TOURNAMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The third day of tlio New Zealand Ladies' Hockey Championship provided good games all round. Poverty Bay appeared for the first time, and showed themselves handy players. Results:— Canterbury beat Hawke's Bay by 1 to nil; Poverty Bay beat Wairarapa by 3 to 2; Wellington and Manawatu drew, 2 goals each; VVanganui had a bye.
