Wellington, Last Night. ' , Another gift of £SOO has been accepted by the Hon. G. W. Russell for the provision of a camp for convalescent soldiers at Rotorua. Similar generosity is being witnessed in the South Island for the establishment of a camp at Hannier. It is expected that the profits of a patriotic trotting meeting promoted by the Canterbury Owners' and Breeders' Association will amount to £SOO for that purpose. Mr. Russell says that he fully anticipates that the whole of the money and material needed to set up these camps will conic from the voluntary; contributions of organisations and indw viduals.
