THE ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Frankley Road Dairy Company, Ltd., was held yesterday afternoon. Mr. P. Baker (retiring chairman of directors) presided. The annual report, which was adopted, congratulated the shareholders on the largely increased milk supply and the satisfactory basis on which the company was now established. The change from butter-making to cheese-making at the a beginning of last season was an opportune one, as shareholders thus obtained the benefit of the high prices ruling for cheese. The directors continued their policy of consigning to Messrs Collett, Whitefield, and Co., Ltd. The factory has dealt with a total of 2,134,115, the milk producing 85,7481b butterfat, as against sS,oßßib butterfat last year; 1!)9,0721b milk, containing 75331b butterfat, were used for butter-making, producing 80141b butter, an over-run of 18.33 per cent.; 1,034,4431b milk for cheese-making producing iu4,lßllb cheese, an average of 0.471b milk per lb cheese, 2.61b cheese per lb butterfat, average test 4 per cent. After writing 10 per cent, depreciation off all buildings and plant amounting to £IBO 5s Id, the profit and loss account showed a credit balance of £2OO 12s 7d, which the directors recommended bo paid to suppliers by a bonus of 4-5 d per lb of butterfat supplied. Suppliers would then have received an average payment of 16.05 d per lb of butterfat for cheese and 13.3(1 per lb for butter. It was decided to increase the number of directors bv two, making seven directors. Messrs ,T. Upson and P. Gilbert remain in office and the following additional directors were electedt Messrs L. j Hill, R. Todd, A. C. Binnie, F. Yates, and F. Baker. Mr. Upson was appointed chairman. GENERAL. Mr. W. M. Falconer was re-appointed auditor. The chairman and the manager were each voted an honorarium of £ 10. ■
