AN AERIAL BOMBARDMENT. Received July 14, 11.55 p.m. Rome, July 14. Official: A squadron of our aeroplanes effectively bombarded a large cnemv oamp in the neighborhood of Gorizia. BOMBS ON VENICE. Rome, Julv 13. An aeroplane dropped bombs on Venire on Sunday, damaging two houses and injuring two women and a child. One also hit the Doge's Palace. The aeroplane dropped darts, one of which pinned a woman's foot to the pave-! ment. ALPINt'S GREAT FEAT. (Times and Sydney Sun Services.) London, July 13. The Alpini have accomplished another remarkable feat. They sealed precipitous peaks and dropped on the unsuspecting Austrians, driving them out of their trenches and making twenty prisoners. It seems impossible to choose a position safe from flank attacks by these wonderful mountaineers.
It is clear that the Italian grip on the lower Trcntino is tightening. They have gained both east and west of the Adige Valley by taking the Galgasnrta height, 4380 ft.. dominating the Terragnolo Valley, The Italians have begun the fight for the second road from Veitetia to Rovercto.
