Miles of German trenches have been gallantly rushed east and west cf Yprcs. Larger numbers of German prisoners! have been taken, including a significant proportion of officers, than in any fighting la the west since the retreat from the Marnfe. The ground the Allies have gained tihey hold, and will eontiiiiie to hold. There is eveiiy promise that the ■vigorous onslaught will be pressed decisively. General Jod're has igiven up nibbling, and taken to biting seriously.
