MAXAIA CIXT!. ' AXXHA'T, MEETING. The annual meeting of the Manaia Howling Club was held in Mr. A, G. liennett's office on Monday evening. Tlie president, Mr. W. ,T. McDonald, occupied the chair. The secretary, Mr. 11. Dixon, tendered his resignation oh account of leaving the district. . This was accepted with rearet anil an appreciation of his services was recorded on the minutes. Mr. W. Hair was appointed delegate to attend the annual meeting of the Howling Centre, to be held at Xew Plymouth. \lt was resolved that it be m recommendation to the committee to revise the rules relating to competition*. It was reported that the president's trophy for champion singles had been won In- Mr. A. Franklin, and the vice-president's trouliv hv Mr. A. Hansen. The following officers were elected:—Patron, Mr. 'W. Hair; president, Mr. .T. W. Patcrson; vice-president, Mr. C. Stevenson; secret;irv. Mr. S. McKcnzie: auditor. Mr. V. If. Hobda v; oomniittee, Mmri's. A. Franklin, J. Cliris-t-ie, T. Hotter. C. -Stevenson. W. Taylor aiul W. Butler.
