FOOTBALL IN AID OF WOU.VDKD SOLDIERS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmerston North, Last Night. The 'National Dairy Show was continued to-day in overcast weather. The chief item of interest was the football match, Wanganui College v. Te Ante College, which was witnessed by nearly 20,000 people. Several seats sold at £2 each in aid of the Wounded Soldiers' Fund. The senior game provided an excellent exposition of Rugby, Wanganui baring the advantage of G points at half-time. The Maoris played well, in the second half, the game ending six all. The junior game resulted: Wanganui 11, Te Aute nil.
