MEETIXH AT TARIKI. (From Our Own Correspondent.) There was a good attendance of settlers at the meeting on the 13th regarding the proposed North Taranaki Freezing Co. Mr. '(.'. V. Young was voted to the chair, and, in introducing the speaker of the evening Mr. .Quin, briefly referred to the advantages the works would he to the district. Air. Quin, in a clear, businesslike manner, explained the proposed working of the company, and detailed the many advantages that the small farmers, as well as the big ones, would derive from having cooperative works of their own. A nmubov r.f questions were put and satisfactorily answered. "Air. Young proposed that this meeting unanimously approves of the scheme. Air. AY. Kendrick seconded the motion, which was carried without, dissent. Subsequently, on the. call of the chairman sixty shares were taken up. . A heartv vote of thanks to Afr.
