By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Wellington-, Saturday. IWhen Mr. J. Payne (member for Grey Lynn) was speaking in the House of Representatives last night, Mr. G. M. Thomson interjected thait he disagreed with what 'Mr. Payne was saying. Mr. Payne Tetorted characteristically. "You don't know everything," he Bhouted. "You should priok that bubble*, and let you swelled head down a little." Mr. Thomson complained to the Chairman of Oomfmittees that Mr. Payne had called him a prig. Mr. Payne said that wan not the case. He repeated his remark. The. Chairman: The honorable member denies that he made the remark. I innnfc aceefpt his assurance.
