A child named Guy lightband, two years qf age, -was drowned in a watevrace near hia parents' resideoee at Brightwater on Wednesday. FARMER FOWD DROWNED, Wanganul, last Night. The body of Frank Jefferson, a wellknown fanner, of Marton, was found in the river to-day. The body had been in the water for a fortnight, bat nothing is known as to tihe man's disappearance, jHe left home for a holiday oa September 33rd.
