THE WELLINGTON SI3SSIONS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, L,ast Night. At the Supreme Court, John Alfred Tucker, charged with the manslaughter (if Harry Gallagher, who died as, the .result of a blow struck during a drunken urgument outside the City Hotel, was acquitted.
Thomas MeNanmra and Owen Gladstone Swan, who had been convicted' sf assault and robbery, came up for sentence. McNamara got two year"' hard labor, and Swan six months''hard labor, and eighteen months' reformative treatment thereafter.
Archie Doran, for theft of whisky, was sent to gaol for six months' hard*lab«r.
