On Monday last we held our monthly sale at Strathmorc. There was it fair yarding and a good attendance. Competition was good, and we effected a total clearance. We quote: 2%-ypar in enlf heifers, £4s 10s; 2-year gtccrs, £4 7s Od; weaner heifers. 17s to 27a Od; weaner steers, iil 7s (id to £1 lis; cull lambs, Cs 2d.
At Stratford ou Tuesday we had a good yarding, chiefly young cattle. Competition was good throughout and most lines were disposed of at the hammer.
