FUBTHEU DAMAGE TO PP.OPER.TY. 13y Cable—Press Associatii"—Coin right London, May 4. The suffragettes burned the Cave Hill bowling and tennis pavilion at Belfast. An elderly suffragette, with a chopper, slashed in three places Sargent'B portrait of Henry James, one of the most notable pictures in the Academy. She was arrested. The damage to the picture is estimated at £2OB. Mary Wood, the perpetrator, was committed for trial.
