«, j REMITS AGREED TO. I By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The conference of the jNew Zealani Poultry Association was continued today. Several remits were adopted. On the motion of the Canterbury ueiegates the Government is- to be urged tec- appoint two additional instructors for farmers and poultrymen to arrest the enormous waste in marketing eggs and poultry, to provide for an accurate return of the value of poultry products in the Dominion. A remit from Auckland, proposing that the Government should-' establish an egg-laying competition, to be conducted at Ruakura istate Farm, produced a lively discussion, and 1 eyoked strongly expressed opposition from Oiiristchurch delegates. The motion was lost. It was resolved to urge the Government to move in, obtaining suitable provision for the carriage of eggs to Vancouver.
