A COLONIAL CONFERENCE SUGGESTED. PROPOSED AFFILIATION WITH AUSTRALIA. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last, Night. The Arbitration Unions Conference today adopted the following resoution: — "That for the purpose of solidifying the forceß of Labor, and in order more successfully to protect the mutual interests of organised Labor, this conference urges upon the United Federation of Labor the necessity of calling a. conference, of all unions for July 7, with the object of deciding upon a common line of action politically, and to discuss and act if so decided in the direction wi soon as possible thereafter of becoming affiliated witlh the Australian Labor Federation.
