», A NEEDLESS ENTERPRISE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Tirnaru, Last Night. The'Tokomaru arrived at 5 p.m. from ' London direct, in ballast, 46 days out. It is explained that owing to the detention of steamers by tlhe watersiders' strike a shortage, of vessels for the meat trade was threatened, and the Tokoma.ru on arrival Home was hurriedly discharged and sent back in ballast, losing outwit rd freight.
