Mrs. Hales, the wife of Rev. Frank Hales, died yesterday at the residence of nor father in Wellington. Mr. It. Sinclair has resigned his position as health inspector and will be succeeded by Sir. Detective-Sergeant fioddam arrived in Aew Plymouth lasi night from Feilding whence he returns on Saturday. He will' resume his duties in New Plymouth at the end of the present month.
