Wellington, Last Night. • Summary—Moderate to strong westerly winds have predominated, with fair to cloudy weather generally, but gloomy conditions are reported this evening in many parts of the country. The barometer has been unsteady. Forecast—Present indications are for strong westerly winds, changing my south to south-easterly. Weather unsettled, and squally for a short time, a; a storm area appears to be developing ' ia front oi an anticyclone.
