THE EXHIBITION MEETING. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The Exhibition Axemen's Carnival was concluded on the Domain cricket ground on Saturday afternoon. Among *Se events decided were the New Zealand championship sawing events, and the world's championship choj. Several interesting bicycle and running races also eventuated. A private running match, over a distance of 150 yds, for a purse of £l5O, and a trophy, between 11. 11. Brinkmann and E. Lambert was won by the former by half a yaj'd, in 15 l-ssec. > New Zealand championship, singlehanded sawing, 20in log.— D. Pretty (New Zealand) 1. \V. Peck (Australia) 2, A. E. Sullivan 3.
