COMMONWEALTH ELECTIONS
LIBERAL LEADING FOR HUME. THE REFERENDA REJECTED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, June 19. The Liberal candidate is leading by 447 votes for the Hume seat. There are, however, one thousand votes yet to be counted. The referenda returns are nearing completion, and they assure the rejection of all six questions, both by a majority of the total votes and by a majority of the States. The political position is unchanged. The Fisher Cabinet will make no move until the final result at Hume is beyond doubt.
