THE TERRITORIALS.
N.C.O. COMMISSIONS. Per Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The 'military headquarters have forwarded the following concerning the examination of N.C.O's of the Territorial Force and Senior Cadets for the first appointments to commissions: "Please note and inform all concerned that the above examination this year is postponed to the beginning of September for the present. Tn exceptional cases, N.C.O's of the Territorial Force may be recommended as candidates up to the age of thirty. Schoolmasters of secondary schools may he recommended as candidates at any age for commissions in the Senior Cadet companies of their schools. In the case of schoolmasters, papers A and B are dispensed with. Candidates for commissions in the Territorial Force elect to sit for the commission in any arm, hut must state, when applying to he allowed to present themselves for examination, to which arm they are de-' sirous of being appointed on obtaining; a commission.
