FIGUBES FOE THE YEAR. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, May 29. The gross payments for old age pensions for 1912-13- were £415,760 as against £400,256 in the previous year. The net payments, after deduction of refunds and with the credit from the endowment fund, totalled £397,069. The number of claims lodged last year was 2440, against 2975 in the previous year, and the number granted 2086 against 2318. Pensioners who died numbered 1557, and the cancellations were 633.
