THEATRE ROYAL. The change of pictures at the Theatre Royal produced a great "star" picture, "The Black Mask," which wag watched with the keenest interest by patrons. 1 The plot concerns a young man who is entrusted with the dangerous mission of carrying certain documents, very badly wanted by another company who* employ a girl to steal the papers. The girl, however, falls in love with her victim. Lola, the tight-rope dancer, sees the two together, and the idea of hw old lover bestowing his attentions elsewhere, causes her to seek revenge. A maximum of thrills is obtained in the concluding scenes, which are intensely interesting. "Another Woman," "The Missing Jewels," "Millionaire Vagabonds," and "Major Goldfinch," were other films in this programme, which will be repeated to-night.
