A SAILOR'S FATE. By Telegraph— Press Association. Nelson, Last Night. The three -masted schooner Marono, from Newcastle, with coal, reached Nelson to-day after a stormy passage. The vessel left Newcastle on May 3, and encountered a succession of gales, not running into good weather until 'passing Cape Egmont. During a squall, early on Sunday morning, an ordinary seaman named Leslie Miller was lost overboard while shortening sail. A boat was lowered, an<l the vessel re' mained in the vicinity for several hours, but nothing was seen of Miller, who belonged to Sydney.
