THE XEW ZEALAND. The meeting of the Citizens' Committee to be held to-night to consider arrangements for the visit of. the battleship New Zealand will have a difficult problem to solve. We are not much concerned with what form the official reception is to take, or how the adults are to make provision for their accommodation and for their viewing of "Our Dreadnought." But the problem of the children is a different one. It. is now definitely decided that the big warship will only lie in the roadstead from nine o'clock in the morning until dusk. If the children fiom the back-blocks » n \ to be given an opportunity of inspecting the Dominion's gift to the Motherland it will be. necessary to make the most complete arrangements for their accommodation. Many of them live miles from the nearest railway station, and it will he necessary for them to arrive in town overnight, or stay on the Monday night at some adjoining railway centre, if they are to be given the long-looked-for happiness of I participating in the ensuing festivities.
